Welcome to the June/July issue!

This is my final issue as Editor and I would like to say a huge "thank you" to my husband Shaun for his amazing publishing software skills, to Paul Taylor for managing our printing, to our loyal advertisers, to the wonderful squad of delivery volunteers, to our local artists for sharing their work with us and to all of you for your contributions and photos. It’s been a pleasure for the past 3 ½ years!

I am pleased to announce that Jocelyn Dolphin is now the new Editor. Jocelyn and her husband Mark moved into the village last year. A big welcome to you both and I hope you enjoy The Chimes as much as we have. Thank you to Martin Harris for our cover photos. It shows Olly Greenslade and Elli Smith’s horses and bow top caravan which they took to the Abbey Hill Steam Rally at Yeovil Showground for the Bank Holiday weekend. It looks like it was a great show.

If you have an update, feature or photos that you would like published, please send them to a new email adress for Jocelyn at: eastchinnocknewsletter2024@gmail.com. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CHANGE TO THE PREVIOUS EMAIL ADDRESS.

The deadline for the next issue is 11 July 2024.

Best wishes and over and out!

Annette
