Hello! May is suddenly upon us and what better time to be given a free map of the great walks we have in and around our village – many thanks to Mike Bussell and the Parish Council. The dates of the big village events of the summer are in this issue so be sure to make a note of them – they are always a lot of fun! Giant marrows next to photos of local sunsets, a crocheted penguin next to some bigger buns – it’s all there at the Village Show, and who can resist Bertie’s Big Band after last year’s success at the Music Night?
