East Chinnock

A small friendly village in Somerset, set halfway between Crewkerne and Yeovil, south facing on the side of East Chinnock Hill.

Chinnock Chimes - Oct-Nov 2024

Chinnock-Chimes--OctNov-2024
18 September 2024

Welcome to the Autumn edition. There are various events to look forward to in the next few months, notably Bonfire Night with a "Make a Guy" competition and the Christmas Fair on Friday 29th November, as well as the resumption of "Pub Night" on Friday 27th September. Im pleased to see that Sharon Smith will also restart her Pilates classes this month. Full details of events appear within the following pages and on the village notice boards.

I have received a heartfelt plea from Sheila Reeve regarding the planters in front of the Village Hall, since the theft of plants from them earlier in the year. I hope some kind residents will volunteer to take on the maintenance of them, see below. Best wishes,

Angela

The deadline for the next issue is 11th November thechinnockchimes@btinternet.com
