We really need more players to keep Kurling alive on Friday mornings in the village after some very sad deaths this autumn, players moving away and health reasons.  So we're having a recruitment drive in the form of an Open Day on Saturday 14 January at the Village Hall from 10.30.

If people don't want to commit to every Friday as a team player, then can be added to a reserve list who will only be called upon in cases of absence of regular team players.

Each game takes an hour (40 mins approximately in truth) and would only be required for one hour between 10:00 and 13:00 depending on the fixture list.

It's a good way to meet new people, have a bit of fun and, for the more competitive types, become the champion team or top scorer!
