Carole Britton has a male Sparrowhawk visit the garden at the weekend hoping to capture a bird or two.  She watched it chase a Blue Tit, but it very deftly disappeared in the small shrubs at the side of the garden.  The Sparrowhawk went off to a neighbour's fence and sulked in the rain!

A squirrel and a Great Spotted Woodpecker on the garden fence joined by a blackbird.
