I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas and that 2026 brings you all you wished for. As we move towards Spring, there are new events to look forward to as well as the annual shows. This edition contains the review and photographs of the 2025 Christmas Fair on November 29th 2025.

I hope you’re all enjoying the summer weather we’ve been having, I know some people find the kind of temperatures we’ve had over the last weeks difficult to cope with, but it seems churlish to complain about them when we traditionally complain about the cold and wet conditions we’re more used to.

With Summer hopefully approaching and holidays being planned, some of the village clubs and activities have ceased until the Autumn, so we celebrated our last Pub Night - a popular event and returning in September - on April 25th.
Soup Lunches and Kurling have also finished for the time being. We will of course be having the annual Village Show and Music Nights in July; further details in this issue.

Hello everyone. Well, Spring has officially sprung and many folks now will be getting their gardens into shape for what we hope will be a warm and sunny Summer, climate change allowing of course.
This is also the time to start planning what you might be interested in growing with our Village Show in mind, whether it be vegetables, fruit, shrubs, pot plants, flower arrangements - garden or wild flowers. All entries will be welcomed and we hope to have a high turnout for a fun afternoon.

Welcome to the Autumn edition. There are various events to look forward to in the next few months, notably Bonfire Night with a "Make a Guy" competition and the Christmas Fair on Friday 29th November, as well as the resumption of "Pub Night" on Friday 27th September.
